Treatments

Tooth-colored fillings

Composite fillings that blend in with your tooth. Amalgam is used only when it suits the tooth better.

Crowns

A custom cap that covers a cracked, worn or heavily filled tooth to restore its strength and shape.

Bridges

A fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth, anchored to the teeth or implants on either side.

Dentures

Full or partial dentures, and dentures held in place with mini implants.

Root canals

Saving infected teeth with our in-house endodontist. About root canals.

Catching problems early

Most restorative work starts small. A cavity caught early needs a small filling. Left alone, it can grow into a crown, a root canal, or a lost tooth. Regular checkups with digital X-rays let us find decay and cracks while they are still easy to fix, and we will always tell you what is urgent and what can wait.

Knowing your cost first

Before we start, our insurance coordinator works out what your PPO plan is expected to cover, and we tell you your out-of-pocket cost. If cost is a concern, ask about alternatives or about financing through CareCredit or LendingClub.

Well-run, friendly and professional. Got a crown here and it was a very good experience. Highly recommend.

Restorative Dentistry questions

Do you use tooth-colored fillings?

Yes, in most cases. We primarily use tooth-colored composite fillings. Amalgam (metal) is used only when it is the better choice for a particular tooth.

When do I need a crown instead of a filling?

When a tooth has a large filling, a crack, heavy wear or has had a root canal, a filling may not be strong enough. A crown covers and protects the whole tooth.

Bridge, implant or partial denture: which is best for a missing tooth?

A bridge is anchored to the teeth on either side of the gap. An implant replaces the root and does not involve the neighboring teeth. A partial denture is removable and costs the least. We will explain the trade-offs for your situation.

Can my loose denture be fixed?

Often. A denture can be relined or replaced, and many denture wearers can have it held in place with mini implants.
